LIVIGNSTON COUNTY —The Livingston County Chamber of Commerce has announced their new President and CEO, Laura Lane who replaces Cynthia Oswald. Lane will also lead the Livingston County Education Alliance.

According to a media release from the Chamber Lane served as the President & CEO of the Wyoming County Chamber of Commerce, a role she held for the past three years. Laura has served in various capacities in the chamber of commerce arena for over a decade between her time with the Wyoming County Chamber as well as downstate at the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.
Immediate Past Chairman Bill Bacon said, “Laura brings a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge from a Chamber perspective. We are excited to have her as a part of our Team and know that her leadership will bring innovation and value to our current and prospective members.”

A Perry native, Laura moved back to the area in 2005 and had been with the Wyoming County Chamber since that time. She is a graduate of SUNY Fredonia with a degree in History and International Relations. She resides in Dansville with her husband Ryan, 4-year-old daughter Molly and 18-month old son Mason.
