MOUNT MORRIS – The Mount Morris Summer Recreation Program dates have been set for the Summer of 2016.
The Mount Morris Summer Recreation Program will take place July 5 to August 12 at Bellamy Park. This is the third consecutive year that Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston County has been awarded the contract by the Village of Mount Morris.
“We are excited to provide the Mount Morris Summer Recreation program again this year,” said Executive Director Bo Freeman. “The program has garnered tremendous enthusiasm and support from the community.”
The Mount Morris Summer Recreation Program is operated by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston County and sponsored by the Village of Mount Morris with a generous donation from the Mount Morris branch of Five Star Bank.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Livingston County will offer full-day programming for free. Activities will include sports and fitness activities, arts and crafts, games, and more. Friday field trips will include swimming at Letchworth State Park and visits to the Chip Holt Nature Center and Minnehan’s Fun Center.
A Summer Recreation Program Registration will be held on June 29 at Bellamy Park. Registration packets will be made available at both the Mount Morris Village Clerk and CCE Livingston County offices. They can also be obtained at www.ccelivingstoncounty.org.
