CONESUS – Catholic Charities of Livingston County will beat the heat, have some fun and build support for local community members in need at their first ever Summer Carnival at Long Point Park.
Pony rides, a petting zoo, bounce houses, games, face painting, make and take crafts, carnival games and food trucks will come to Long Point Park for Summer Family Fun Day on August 20 from noon to 4 p.m., all proceeds to go to Catholic Charities.

One of the best events will be a charity dunk tank with Livingston County Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, District Attorney Greg McCaffrey and Geneseo Superintendent Tim Hayes. Participants can donate a dollar to throw a ball at a target to dunk these local figures in a tank of water. For $10, you can just run up and push the dunk button.
There will be a drawing for a free weekend on Conesus Lake.
Cost is $10 for ages 14 and up, $5 for 3 to 13 and kids age 2 and under are free.
