An Ontario County deputy was arrested for “eavesdropping,” using a listening device to listen to, among other things, jury deliberations at the Ontario County Courthouse. A big yellow farmhouse at 3026 County Road 40, near Bailey Road, in Bloomfield, was found to be ablaze at about 5:15 Sunday evening, March 5, with the residents not home when the fire was discovered.
