County Health Department warns of pertussis outbreak
LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The Livingston County Department of Health released a news statement on its website stating that from January 1 to June 11, there have been 55 positive cases of pertussis, or whooping cough in the county. Mount Morris man dies in fatal car accident
GENESEO — An early morning accident has claimed the life of a Mount Morris man after a head on collision on Rte 63.Mark Greig, 28, was traveling north on Rte 63 around 9:30 a.m. near the Retsof salt mine, according to New York State Police, when his vehicle crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head on with another vehicle. Steel Blossoms auction total revealed
DANSVILLE — The Genesee Valley Educational Partnership’s Career and Tech Center and the Livingston County Economic Development Corporation raised a total of $36,775 for the American Red Cross after auctioning off 48 garden-themed metal sculptures created by Olie Olson’s metal trades class Saturday. GENESEO — The recipients of Geneseo’s 2012 New York Main Street Grant were announced at Monday’s Geneseo Village Board of Trustees meeting.
