GENESEO — Eight-time Emmy Award winning television producer and Geneseo resident Gertrude Houston passed away June 1 at Buffalo’s Roswell Park Cancer Institute. She was 54 years old. Ms. Houston, a graduate of Geneseo Central School and State University College of New York at Fredonia, was a well-known and well-loved member of the community. Recipients of Geneseo Main Street Grant announced
GENESEO — The recipients of Geneseo’s 2012 New York Main Street Grant were announced at Monday’s Geneseo Village Board of Trustees meeting. The grant committee received 18 commercial and residential applications and ranked them based on the grant’s criteria. They chose 12 locations to receive part of the $344,500 in funds. GENESEO — Web designer Tom Hill presented a new, updated website design for www.geneseony.org, the government website, to the Geneseo Town Board during its meeting tonight.
