LIVONIA – The cat that fled a car accident scene on Monday is still missing but may have been seen in the area of Hemlock Lake on Tuesday.

According to volunteers with the Hemlock Fire Department, the cat is a black and white female named Softie.
She may have been seen at the intersection of Rte. 15A and Rix Hill Road at the north end of Hemlock Lake, about two miles south of the accident scene at Main Street and Big Tree Road.
The family posted flyers in the area. Anyone who finds her is asked to call (585) 991-8546.
The Facebook page ‘Protect Hemlock and Canadice Lakes’ says that she comes to both her name and the phrase, ‘here kitty kitty.’
That page also says ‘her human is missing her like crazy’ and ‘Let’s reunite a little boy with his furry friend!’
Volunteers with the Hemlock Fire Department are caring for another cat which was recovered from the accident.
No one, human or otherwise, was seriously injured in the crash.
