Canandaigua’s N. Main Closed for Accident

An electric scooter driver driving north on the southbound shoulder of North Main St. was mercyflighted to the hospital, after being hit by a car making a right hand turn from Rt. 332. The car was looking to their left (since that’s the direction traffic was coming) and the scooter driver was coming from the right. The accident occurred on Aug. 4 at about 12:45 p.m.

The scooter operator was not wearing a helmet, and reportedly suffered head injuries.  The driver of the car was not ticketed.

Identify of both drivers was not released.
