CANANDAIGUAN ARRESTED FOLLOWING GAS STATION ROBBERY

Early Friday morning, Jerry Hill, 29, of Canandaigua, allegedly walked into the Speedway convenience store brandishing a hunting knife and threatening an employee there.  He stole money from the cash register and left.

The employee called 911, and police soon found Hill on Lakeshore Drive, and arrested him for first degree robbery and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Hill is being detained at the Ontario County jail until arraignment.
