The Canandaigua City School District voters approved a $88.3 million budget for the 2023-2024 school year, including two propositions for transportation and vehicle purchases. Seventy-two percent of the voters approved the budget (Proposition One) , with 907 voting for the budget and 350 voting against.

On Proposition Two, which was for a transportation purchase, 924 approved the purchase, and 331 voted against. For Proposition 3, which was for the Vehicle Reserve Fund, 895 voted in favor, and 357 voted against. Proposition four which was funding for Wood Library was approved, 861-387.
Elected to the board were Meghan Personale with 1013 votes and John Polimeni with 1009 votes.
