Campus, Community Invited To SUNY Geneseo Letchworth Second Annual ‘Restaurant Take Over’

GENESEO – SUNY Geneseo’s Letchworth Dining Hall will host it’s second Restaurant Takeover this year. The annual event will bring in a multitude of local eateries, aimed at bringing more awareness to the local food offerings of the county.

“We’re looking to expose the campus community to the food culture in the county,” said Assistant Manager John McDonald. “We have Questa Lasagna, Sweet Arts Bakery, The Village Tavern, Pizza Pauls, Wegmans, and The Big Tree Inn all attending.”

The event brought in more than 800 students last year, and hopes to build on that success this time around. The event is designed to build community, and benefit local business.

The event will take place Thursday, March 22 at Food Studio North, located in the Letchworth Dining Hall. Dinner runs from 5-8pm, and students, as well as members of the community are welcomed, and encouraged to come.
