According to a press release from Caledonia Police Chief Daniel Chapman, James Wilson, 22, was charged with Endangering the Welfare of a Child, an A misdemeanor, and Assault in the Third Degree, an A misdemeanor.
“There were some injuries that allowed us to make those charges,” said Caledonia Police Chief Daniel Chapman.
Wilson was arraigned in Caledonia Village Court, and remanded to the Livingston County Jail on $500 bail.
An order of protection was issued for the victim.
The Livingston County Child Protective Agency is also involved in the ongoing investigation.
