LIVINGSTON COUNTY — On Thursday the Livingston County Republican Party Committee voted and nominated Marjorie Byrnes as their candidate for the New York State 133rd Assembly District.
Byrnes defeated incumbent 133rd State Assemblymen Joe Errigo and also Michael Tenalio. The 133rd Assembly District includes all of Livingston County and parts of Monroe and Steuben Counties.
According to a a press release from the Byrnes campaign she has served as a Monroe County Assistant District Attorney, Rochester City Court Judge, Court Attorney to Livingston County Court Judge Dennis Cohen and is currently a Village Trustee in Caledonia.
The ball is now in the court of Errigo and Tenalio and whether they want to continue on and take the matter to the Republican voters who do not serve on the Livingston County Republican Committee and have a primary.
