CANTON – The Livonia Bulldogs Women’s Cross Country team competed in the State meet Saturday morning. The team captured an 8th place finish out of the 11 Class C teams competing.

The Class C race featured over 120 runners over the 5000 meter course. The Class C Title was won by East Aurora, with a score of 51 points.
First across the line for the Bulldogs was Clarissa Hensler. Hensler placed 15th overall, and finished the course in a time of 20:24.4. MacKenzie Ferlica was next for the Bulldogs, finishing in 32 place. The top 5 was rounded out by Molly Stewart, Skyler Ellis, and Audrey Weber. These ladies finished 45,55 and 56 respectively.
Also competing for the Bulldogs were Laurence Leinders (58), and Emily Barnard (70).
This performance is added to the stellar season the Livonia Cross Country team has had. From finishing the regular season undefeated, the Ladies won the County Title, Sectionals, and made their stamp on the State Meet.
