The game remained neck and neck until the end of the last quarter when Chris Folu-Montes made a critical cut-back for a touchdown, stopping Livonia’s offensive momentum and securing their victory as the class B sectional champions.
Each team capitalized on the others weak spots and adjusted appropriately, leaving it up to the special teams to determine the outcome. Livonia fumbled three times and gave up one pass as an interception, while the bombers took advantage and gained the lead in the second half. Derek Bishop led the Bulldogs in carries with 149 yards with Josh Wester following up at 95 yards.
Dustin Ayers won the the sportsmanship award for Livonia, Chris Scipione won the Most Valueable Offensive Lineman award, and Derek Bishop won the Most Valuable Defensive Back award. The Bulldogs concluded their season 7-4 overall and can look forward to a well earned off season.
