GENESEO – Ice arena-goers are encouraged to attend Geneseo’s fifth annual Teddy Bear Toss in support of local childrens’ charities at the SUNY Geneseo Ice Knights’ Friday game.
According to SUNY Geneseo’s events website, all are welcomed to bring new or lightly used stuffed animals to the Ira S. Wilson Ice Arena at 7 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 4.
“These toys will brighten the Knight of a child, as they will be donated to Livingston County chapters of Catholic Charities, Focus on the Children, and Foster Children of Livingston County,” according to the Facebook page of the third annual toss.
At the event, once the Ice Knights have scored their first goal, toss your teddy bear or stuffed animal on the ice in order to donate it.
Again, according to the event page, “Be sure to arrive early so you do not miss the ‘Toss!'”
