LIVINGSTON COUNTY – The jury has been selected for a felony trial against Christopher Bricks, 29, who currently stands accused of Burglary in the Second Degree, Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, and a Criminal Possession of a Weapon for his alleged involvement the apparent theft of a shotgun from a female acquaintance’s Dansville home on May 19, 2014.

The Dansville Police Department arrested Bricks on June 6 as part of their investigation into the disappearance of the shotgun.
Livingston County District Attorney Greg McCaffrey is prosecuting the case and will be presenting evidence against Bricks at trial over the week.
Bricks is represented by attorney John Darpino with the Public Defender’s Office, who will challenge the District Attorney’s evidence.
County Judge Robert Wiggins will preside over the case.
If found guilty by the jury, Bricks could face up to 3 1/2 to 15 years for this charge.
