Brace for Ice, Cold Conditions Heading This Way

LIVINGTSON COUNTY — It’s the winter the won’t let go, as we are deep now mid-April and this weekend we are looking at a winter weather warning for Livingston County.

According to the National Weather Service the winter weather advisory will be in effect from Saturday afternoon through Sunday morning.

 

.WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM SATURDAY
TO 10 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing rain expected. Total ice accumulations of a
  quarter to half inch are expected.

* WHERE...Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, and
  Livingston counties.

* WHEN...From 2 PM Saturday to 10 AM EDT Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Power outages and tree damage are likely
  due to the ice. Winds will gust to 30 to 40 mph, especially
  along the lakeshore. Travel may be difficult at times.
