LIVONIA— The Livonia Bulldogs beat more than the wind Saturday afternoon, defeating Byron Bergen 3-0.
This Quarter Final win takes the Bulldogs, seeded #1 in Class B, to 16-1-1.
“We had 3 great goals,” Head Coach Ray Maxwell said. “They (Byron Bergen) possessed the ball well, they are a good team.” Maxwell said Bergen possessed the ball better than the Bulldogs, and aimed to work on that before their next match.
7 minutes into the game, Tanner Pierce scored a goal for the Bulldogs.
Half way through the first period, Ryan Henderson added another goal, bringing the Bulldogs above Bergen 2-0.
The final goal was scored 10 minutes into the second half, by Tanner Pierce.
Keeper Sebastian Bosch had a great day, boasting a shutout of Byron Bergen.
The Bulldogs’ next match will be next Wednesday, October 29. The opponent and location are TBD.
