A quiet first half of play brought fireworks during the second period. With the game tied just before the end of the second half, overtime was in sight.
After a goal by Wellsville, Troy Rossbourough tied the game for the Bulldogs, with an assist from Morgan Brown.
The decisive strike by the Bulldogs was made by Andrew Freeman, with an assist from Billy Hitchcock. The Bulldogs will now advance to the Finals of Sectional play.
The next match for the Bulldogs will be Saturday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m. They will take on the Bath-Haverling Rams at the HFL complex.
