BOYS SOCCER: Livonia Edges Out Bath

BATH— The Livonia Bulldogs narrowly escaped defeat last night, beating the Bath Haverling Rams 1-0.

The Bulldogs stand at an impressive 14-1-1 overall, 7-0-1 for their league. The Rams go in to Sectionals with an 8-4-4 record overall, 4-2-2 in their league.

The Bulldogs single goal was scored early in the second period, by junior Ryan Lutz, with an assist from junior Tanner Pierce.

The Bulldogs took 11 shots on their opponents goal last night, with 6 saves. The Rams took 13 shots on the Bulldogs’ goal, and had 5 saves of their own.

The next game for both teams will be Sectionals. The time, location and opponents are TBD at this time.
