LIVONIA – The Livonia Bulldogs took down the Wayland Cohocton Golden Eagles last night, with a score of 8-0.

All 25 of the Bulldogs’ roster saw sectional play in last nights’ game.
“We were pleased with last nights’ performance,” Head Coach Ray Maxwell said. “We are taking the post-season games one at at a time and taking every opponent very seriously.”
Early in the first half, Ryan Lutz scored 2 goals, assisted by Andrew Freeman and Tanner Pierce respectively. Morgan Brown took the next score for the Bulldogs with an assist from Billy Hitchcock.
One minute later, Hitchcock himself scored, with an assist from Matthew Faulkenberry. Kyle Feldman rounded out the first half goals with an assist from Troy Rossborough.
Lutz began the second period with a goal, assisted by Jordan Holley. 62 minutes into play, Fred Owen made goal 7 for the Bulldogs, assisted by Freeman.Rossborough made the final strike 65 minutes into play.
Coach Maxwell said that the remaining games will be very intense, mentioning that any of the remaining teams could win the class. “We need to be a bit more aggressive in some spots,” Maxwell said. “If we are to go further and that’s what we’ll be working on the next two days.”
The Bulldogs play again at home Saturday, October 25 at 6p.m. They will face Byron Bergen in the Class B Quarter Finals.
