HAMBURG — The Livonia Bulldogs took on Section VI Champions East Aurora Saturday evening at Hamburg High School to play the Class B Far West Regional soccer game. Livonia won in a 3-2 shootout over East Aurora.
With the first two regulation halves being a stalemate between the two powerhouses, overtime was called for to determine the winner.
After more back and forth, the two 15 minute overtimes did not do the trick. A shootout was held to determine the victor.
With an exchange of goals, the Bulldogs came out victorious 3-2.
The Bulldogs certainly had to work together in order to see this through, but the help from keeper Sebastian Bosch was undeniably their ace. Bosch tallied 16 saves during game play, 2 of them being penalty kicks.
The Bulldogs will play again at Middletown next week at the States match. Exact time and location are TBD.
