The Red Raiders started with a 9-2 run to begin the game. The Golden Knights battled hard, but it was apparent that they were missing a piece to the puzzle. Point guard Tyler Shutts is out with a knee injury and is hoping for a speeding recovery for approaching sectionals.
“There were times when there were three Cal-Mum jersey fighting for the ball and we’re standing around watching,” head coach Ed Orman said. “Hopefully Friday night we will come out hungry for a win.”
Luke Logsdon, back from his torn ACL, has found his groove. Logsdon netted 15 points for the Knights and is going to be a big contributor for this last stretch of games.
