GENESEO–The Geneseo Blue Devils defeated the Keshequa Indians 9-3 in a great game that was pitched by Blue Devil Pitcher Ryan Lagrou who threw for 6 innings only giving up 3 runs.
The Blue Devil’s offense came to life in the sixth inning when they tacked on 4 runs to secure their victory over the Indians.
“All things considered I think we played quite well today” said Head Coach Nick Drollette. “We committed 2 errors in the first but Ryan was able to work his way out of a jam only giving up 1 run. After that we settled down defensively and Ryan really started to find his groove on the mound.”
This years Blue Devil’s pitching is looking fantastic with every pitcher earning an era of under a 3.00 and pitching deep into games.
The Blue Devil’s offense if also looking good this year earning them 8 wins on the season with contributions from players like Brian Linton who’s batting average is off the charts hitting for an average of .517 with 16RBI’s in only 9 games. Blue Devil’s Jonathan Dalheim, Jameson Moran, and Cory Valentine are all hitting over .400 in the season.
This years Blue Devils are looking to do some damage throughout the season with its tight pitching and crushing hitting.
