CALEDONIA — It was swift action by newly sworn in Mayor Scott DiLiberto whom then appointed Greg Boilard as Trustee to fill the vacated seat at Wednesday’s Village Board meeting.
The Caledonia Village Board now consists of Scott DiLiberto (Mayor), Jerry O’donoghue (Deputy Mayor/Trustee), Marjorie Burns (Trustee), Janet Cappotelli (Trustee) and Greg Boilard (Trustee).
“With 10 years experience as Trustee, 6 of them as Deputy Mayor, I am looking forward to the next 4 years,” said Mayor DiLiberto. “Greg Boilard’s appointment to the open Trustee seat is exciting. Greg brings a lot to the table and is more than capable in serving this community.”
The new board is all Republican Party members.
Burns and Cappotelli recently won the seat where they defeated Cheryl Barney. DiLiberto won running unopposed.
