LIVONIA – A man received more than a little help on Thursday morning at the hands of a generous, hard-working Livonia ambulance crew after falling and getting stuck in his snowed-in driveway in the freezing cold.
According to the Livingston County Sheirff’s Office’s facebook page, the ambulance crew not only rendered aid and checked the man for injuries, but broke out snow shovels and shoveled out the entire driveway to prevent another fall.

“The Deputy was impressed that not only did they render aid to the man but the the crew also took it upon themselves to shovel him out so he wouldn’t risk a fall again,” says the Sheriff’s Office’s facebook page. “Nice job Livonia Ambulance crew!”
Deputy Kevin Barrett was dispatched with the ambulance, and snapped a quick picture after the man was checked for injuries and the ambulance started shoveling.
Fortunately, the man was not injured in the fall.
