LIVINGSTON COUNTY — According to the New York State Police a Dansville Police officer was struck in the face by a youth that was allegedly on bath salts.
The Youth, 15, was traveling with his Aunt when he began arguing with her at a truck stop off of I-390. When Dansville Police arrived they found the young male biting and striking the Aunt in her face. As they attempted to remove the teen the Police Officer was punched in the head and sent to the hospital to be treated for a concussion.
The Aunt and the teen were taken to Noyes Hospital for treatment where officials determined that the outburst was caused by bath salts.
