GENESEO— Jason Valentine held Cal-Mum scoreless over six innings, leading Geneseo to a 3-0 win.
Valentine’s pitching was supported by Luke Harris, who hit the go-ahead RBI, and Cole Flint who had 2 RBIs. Valentine was also named the class C2 player of the year prior to Tuesday’s game.
“Jason Valentine pitched very well tonight,” said Geneseo head coach Nick Drollette. “He was very efficient and kept them off balance all night.”
Geneseo’e record improves to 14-5, and they will play their next game on Thursday, at a location and opponent to be determined.
