Baseball: Livonia Defeats Caledonia-Mumford

LIVONIA–The Livonia Bulldogs extended their winning streak to 4 straight after defeating the Caledonia-Mumford Red Raiders 13-2.

The Bulldogs offense started hot quickly getting 5 runs in the first inning of the game due to some clutch hitting and good base running.

The Red Raiders quickly struck back in the second inning tacking on 2 runs although were never able to get anything going for the rest of the game due to good pitching by Bulldog’s Pitcher Matt Acomb who pitched all 7 innings and finished with 5 strike outs.

The Bulldogs offense continued to crush the ball throughout the entire game due to great hitting from players such as Jordan Carey who went 1-3 with 4 RBI’s and Maddux Minton who contributed with an RBI and 2 Runs.

The Bulldogs looks to continue their hot streak into their next game against Dansville tomorrow at 4:30.
