BASEBALL: Geneseo Squeezes Out Victory Over York

GENESEO — Strong pitching was they key for The Geneseo Blue Devils as they defeated the York Golden Knights 3-2.

Jake Hamilton pitched 4 innings giving up 1 earned run and striking out 11 batters. Daniel Kaye stepped in as the relief pitcher and threw three scoreless innings.

“We looked much better tonight at the plate and put the ball in play a bunch. The boys hit it hard but right at them,” stated Nicholas Drollette, Geneseo Coach.  “In the end we were able to do enough and our pitchers made it count with a great game on the mound.”
