Geneseo was led by Trevor Frazier at the plate who’s 4th inning double brought in 2 runs proved to be the winning hit for the Blue Devils. Brian Linton also contibuted at the plate going 2-4 with 2 RBI as well.
“This Holley team was not the same team we saw in Myrtle Beach. They were definitely much improved. We knew coming in that they had gotten better and we were fully aware we were in for a fight,” said Nick Drollette, Geneseo Head Coach. “Certainly it’s nice to see the big hits in the game but the plays that stick out in my mind are the diving catches by Sam Johnson and Connor Keihl. Connor’s, without a doubt, saved two runs. That was an amazing play by that young man.”
Ryan LaGrou swiped his 28th stolen base of the season and has yet to be caught in his stellar career.
