The Blue Devils beat the Knights 13-1, most of their scoring came in the first two innings. Scoring 4 runs in the 1st and 5 in the 2nd.
“It’s always nice to start off the way we did today,” Geneseo Head Coach Nick Drollette adds. “[Ryan] Madigan is a heck of a pitcher and we were able to set an early tone. Hopefully we can keep it rolling into the quarterfinals.”
Geneseo’s Brian Linton lead the way as he went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s (Runs Batted In) and a walk. Jason Valentine and Matt Robinson both went 2 for 4 adding a RBI each. While Luke Harris went 2 for 4 with a pair of RBI’s.
