Bar-Eat-O Chops ‘Unfounded Rumor’ of Closure

GENESEO – Bar-Eat-O is dispelling an ‘unfounded rumor’ that they may be closing at the end of the semester.

A Facebook post by Bar-Eat-O takes the rumor head-on with the following text:

We at Bar-Eat-O would like to to address the unfounded rumor that we will be closing at the end of the semester. We are a year round fast casual restaurant with a full service bar that focuses on serving the local community year round as well as the Geneseo student body. The owners are based locally in the area and after 24 years of ownership have no intention of closing down in the foreseeable future. We look forward to serving our community for several years to come. In addition to major remodeling we have a great loyalty program that you can sign up for, $2 tacos and $5 margaritas on Tuesdays, kids eat free on Mondays, and several other specials year round. Our bar has a great happy hour vibe with our signature shorty drinks as an all day/everyday happy hour special for $2.75. We also can cater all your events.
