The Exit 9 Flea Market in Avon is opening its doors to the public tomorrow, Sunday, June 13th.
The indoor/outdoor market has become a seasonal family fun attraction in Livingston County. Each Sunday hundreds of shoppers come searching for both bargains and unique items from the over 30 vendors. The hours of operation are from 8 am to 3 pm.
Visitors should wear face masks and practice social distancing. In addition, no pets are allowed. Food, for the opening event, will be offered and expanded in the coming weeks to sate the appetite of those who enjoy eating outdoors.
“I am excited that we can open,” says owner Dick Stein, “because it hopefully symbolizes a return to normal.”
Mr. Steen believes that social interactions are an important element to our collective good mental health and that makes this season opener especially important.
