Avon – March 22, 2019 Bambi Lynn Woolston “Bam”

Avon: Bambi Lynn Woolston “Bam” passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital. She was born in Warsaw, NY to the late John and Sylvia Woolston. She is survived by her children; Ryan (Liz) Witherow of Avon, Patrick (Nicole Robinson) Witherow of Rochester, Jeffery (Meghan DeWinde) Witherow of Conesus, her grandchildren; Brooke Witherow, Carter Witherow, her siblings; Brenda (Alan) Hettrick of Dansville, Chris Woolston of Conesus, Brian Woolston (Susan Guess and Mayson) of Leicester, and her aunts; Sally Witter, Ruth Witter and her beloved dog Lily.

Bam was a daycare provider for Annie’s Ark and went on to care for her own children and others as a self-employed day care provider. She spent the next 17 years working for the Livingston Country Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation as a nursing assistant, where she retired in 2016. Bam had a found interest in gardening, sewing, spending summers on Coneus Lake but there was nothing she enjoyed more than spending time with her family.

Family and Friends are welcome to come and share memories on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 2-5PM at the Kevin W. Dougherty Funeral Home, 21 Big Tree Street in Livonia, with the funeral service immediately following at 5PM.
