Lincoln has issued a new recall for 142,734 model year 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC vehicles due to a risk of fire. Owners should park their vehicles outside and away from structures and other vehicles until the recall has been remedied. Sunday House Fire in Honeoye Brings Several Fire Departments
A house fire at the log cabin on the corner of Gulick Road and Pine Hill Road around 11 a.m. on Sunday resulted in several fire departments being called; significant damage was done to the house in the house fire that started as a car fire. Wegman’s Employee Admits to $568,000 Theft
A former Wegman's employee, Alicia Torres, 47, pled guilty in federal court to stealing over $560,000 from Wegman's, as an employee in the pharmacy department at Webster Wegmans, mostly through the use of a wire fraud scheme. She admitted that, since 2014, she processed about 350 credit cards for refunds, and then kept the money herself by transferring the refunds amounting to $568,021 to her personal credit card. Goodwill of the Finger Lakes has opened a new store in Canandaigua on May 27, at 9 a.m. Over 200 people were line waiting for the store to open. This will be the tenth store opened in the local area. Hemlock Resident Arrested For DWI, drugs
Sheriff Tom Dougherty announced the arrest of a Hemlock resident, Rachel Werner, 42, on May 25, as the result of her May 3 crash on Niver Rd. in Livonia. At the time of the accident, Werner complained of injuries and was transported to the hospital.
