CAL-MUM — The Cal-Mum girls' softball team won both their games to capture the LeRoy Softball Tournament April 22. The tourney took place at Cal-Mum due to poor field conditions at LeRoy. The Cal-Mum girls' softball team won their sixth straight game to start the season by beating Bath 2-1 April 21. Both teams represented Section V in the state playoffs last year which made for a hard-fought game on Friday. Conesus 6-Year-Old Wrestles for State Championship
CONESUS – While most six-year-old boys will be doing regular kid stuff on March 18, Landon Feil will be competing for a Wrestling State Championship. Feil, a native from Conesus, has a tournament record this year of 23-3 in the 46-pound weight division. GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo women's basketball team completed its perfect regular season with a 74-39 win over visiting Cortland yesterday. The Lady Knights were led by Kara Houppert's 13 points while Katie Durand, Kayleigh Cavanaugh, and Kelsey Poplawski all scored 12.
