GENESEO -- The Livingston County Sherriff's Department lost an important deputy this week -- K9 Gibbs, a narcotics and tracking dog with more than seven year's service. K9 Gibbs, an 8-year-old German Shepherd, became ill earlier this week and was diagnosed with a large mass in his abdomen. GENESEO -- A Geneseo man was arrested Monday for soliciting a prostitute. Richard E. Losey, 75, of Geneseo was arrested Monday after a woman in his apartment called 911. Blaze Destroys Lakeville Garage, Two Cars
LAKEVILLE -- A garage and two vehicles were destroyed in a Lakeville fire Sunday evening. According to Livonia Fire Department Chief Rich Alexander, the department received a call around 10 p.m. of a garage on Route 20A with smoke coming from inside. A Hamlin woman was arrested Friday evening after allegedly driving on the wrong side of the interstate while intoxicated.
