GENESEO – Andrew Sisters-style singers will entertain at next month’s remembrance of D-Day at the National Warplane Museum.
This will be America’s Sweethearts first visit to the National Warplane Museum and the first show of its kind since 2014.
Guests enjoy a themed luncheon under the shadow of the Museum’s crown jewel, the C-47 Whiskey-7, and one of their biggest projects, the B-17 Movie Memphis Belle.
Speakers will take the floor at the Museum’s hangar. Guests will enjoy speeches by crew members who made Whiskey 7’s flight back to the shores of Normandy, where she dropped paratroopers on D-Day.
Event organizers say that tickets tend to sell out quickly. Tickets, which include the luncheon, are $35.
Anyone interested can visit the Museum at 3489 Big Tree Lane in Geneseo or mail a check payable to the National Warplane Museum.
