LIVINGSTON COUNTY — The evidential defense witness, John Paolucci, reached out to the GeneseeSun.com with a strong statement of support in the efforts of the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office work in the trial of Danielle Allen.
Paolucci, who was deemed an accident reconstruction expert by the Livingston County Court, sent this statement to the Geneseesun.com:

Greetings,
Greetings,I saw a headline in the Genessee Sun that says I called the LCSO personnel “irresponsible” today.
I want to apologize for the newspaper. I did NOT call the LCSO investigators irresponsible and in fact I praised them for doing a great job.
I called the ADA irresponsible for bringing the bloody couch into the court room and leaving it exposed, creating a biohazard and contaminating the evidence. The trial transcript can shed light on this false statement by the Sun.
This a a very egregious error by the Sun and reporting that is shoddy at best.
You would think that with the media being criticized harshly on a daily basis that reporters would want be sure that what they write is accurate.
I wrote them and told them I hope this was not a incident focused on bashing the police by twisting my words.
I pray that you all stay safe and continue to do the excellent work that was highly apparent in the Danielle Allen investigation.
Sincerely,
John Paolucci
