GROVELAND – All 3 victims of a t-bone collision on Rte. 63 on Sunday are in stable condition after a mother had to be taken to Strong Memorial Hospital by Mercy Flight.
The mother and daughter were attempting to turn left from Abele Road onto Mount Morris Geneseo Road at about 4 p.m. on Sunday when they were struck in the driver’s side door by a gray Subaru.
“The driver of the Subaru was not at fault,” said Trooper LaRose. “It looks like the driver of the Jeep just did not see [the Subaru] coming. It appears that the driver of the Subaru did not even have time to strike his brakes.”
The diver of the Jeep suffered head trauma, and her daughter suffered neck pain, chest pain, and a wrist injury.
The male driver of the Subaru suffered minor chest injuries from his seat belt.
According to news partner 13WHAM, all of the victims were in stable condition following the accident.
Firefighters with the Groveland Fire Department and Geneseo Fire and Ambulance responded to the scene, alongside assisting ambulance crews, Mercy Flight, New York State Police, and the Livingston County Sheriff’s Office.
