GENESEO – The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office Road Patrol Association (LCCOPS) is currently at Long Point Park for their seventh annual ‘Cops for Kids’ event at Long Point Park.
From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. deputies serve popcorn, hot dogs, pizza and ice cream to delighted kids and parents.
Unable to find marketplace offers.
There will be bounce houses, a mechanical bull, a petting zoo, DJ, photo booth, and plenty of food for all.
COPS for Kids day has its roots in 1959, when The Livingston County Deputy Sheriffs Association first hosted an annual “Kiddies Day” at Long Point.
Though the event was discontinued in the 1970’s, LC COPS brought back the tradition in 2010.
Proceeds from the LC COPS reverse draw and golf tourney fund all activities, so children’s admission is always free.
