SPRINGWATER – The Livingston County Sheriff’s office is seeking the community’s help in finding the apparent thief of a statue from a local cemetery.
According to a press release from Sheriff Thomas Dougherty, on Dec. 6 Deputies received a complaint of a stolen statue from a cemetery on Carney Hollow Road.
The statue was last seen at the cemetery on Nov. 19.
The statue is made of metal, possibly bronze, and stands about 4 feet tall.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information regarding the whereabouts or possible theft of the statue to contact Sheriff’s Investigator Joshua Monster at (585) 243-7100.
