LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Another criminal busted in this year’s ‘Spring Cleanup’ drug bust has struck a deal with the District Attorney’s office and will be joining others with jail sentences.
Jennifer Trojanski, 30, pled guilty to Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance, a C Felony, to 2 years in State Prison and 2 years of post release supervision. Trojanski was represented by her lawyer Randy Meyer.
Back in March of this year Trojanski was arrested along with 20 others from across the region as a result of multiple undercover purchases.
“When Livingston County Sheriff Deputies entered the residence of Ms. Trojanski we hit the mother lode,” said Greg McCaffrey, Livingston County District Attorney during a court appearance earlier this year.
Trojanski was caught with suboxone pills, a prescription drug that is used to treat opiate addiction that was developed by the USDA in an effort to replace methadone treatment.
The pills usually sell for $20 on the street and many experts consider it a bridge to heroin addiction.
