Alan B. Cole was born Feb 11, 1945 in Batavia N.Y. and graduated from Batavia High School. Alan met his wife Patricia Brock in 1965 and they married in 1966. They enjoyed a wonderful life together. Alan & Pat had two sons: Alan S. Cole & Todd Cole.

Their son Todd Cole is a successful contractor. Todd married Tammy and had two children, Hailey & Eric Cole. Alan was very proud of his family. The family was always together.
Alan was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Alan enjoyed being with family and taught his sons to work hard, be honest and respectful. When Al & Pat first got married they lived on Conesus Lake. He taught the boys to fish and swim when they were barely out of diapers. The family traveled to Florida every winter. As the family grew the wonderful memories continued.
Alan worked in the construction field. Alan (along with family) built the family home in 1970 in Wadsworth N.Y. where they still reside. Alan took a lot of pride in everything he did; he played golf and was known for having the latest and greatest in golf equipment. His yard looked like a golf course. In 1985 a friend said why don’t you try real estate. Alan said lets give it a try. So in 1985 Alan and Pat got their real
estate license and the rest is history. In 2000 Alan & Patricia opened AB Cole Real Estate, Inc. together with their son Alan S. Cole. Cole Real Estate has turned into a very successful real estate business in Geneseo N.Y. Their mission statement is to be Fair, Honest, and Ethical and help people.
When Alan got his diagnosis in Jan 2019, he said, “I have lived a good life.” And that he did!! Sadly on Feb 21st 2019 Alan passed away. He had just celebrated his 74th birthday. He left a wonderful legacy and had a life well lived. All the many people that came to Alan’s calling hours and the many cards all said the same thing. Al had a great smile and always made us laugh.
We will miss Alan and his smile but he will never be forgotten…
