4 Local Fire Departments Hone Cold Water Rescue Skills in Conesus Lake

LIVINGSTON COUNTY – Four local fire departments took to Conesus Lake on Sunday for annual ice and cold water rescue drills.

The Conesus Fire Department hosted the Groveland, Springwater and Lakeville Fire Departments.

Drills were at the Conesus Inlet Fish and Wildlife Management Area on East Swamp Road.

Fire Department members practiced several different rescue scenarios throughout the morning.
