LIVINGSTON COUNTY — Eight Livingston County Athletic Association teams went into championship weekend vying for a title and only one emerged with a victory, Geneseo Boys Basketball. SKIING: Livonia, Geneseo Earn Top 10 Honors & Gear Up for Sectionals

GENESEO — The Livonia and Geneseo High School ski teams raced a double-header this weekend to close out the regular season of racing. The Livonia boys' team was led by Trevor Simpson and Caleb Dulaney, finishing in 3rd and 8th place, respectively. FOOTBALL: Avon Dominates as they Win Sectional Title

SAHLEN'S STADIUM – The Avon Braves outplayed Clyde-Savannah Golden Eagles 46-0 Sunday to win the Class DD Sectional Title. The Braves are now 6-3 in the season after starting with an 0-3 record. The Braves, coached by Andy Englert, had a fantastic showing. This win secured the teams 6th Section V Football Title. VICTOR – The Livonia Bulldogs Cross Country teams competed in the Section V Sectional race Saturday morning in Victor. The women's team won the Class C Sectional Title, scoring a low 54 points. HONEOYE FALLS –  The Livonia Bulldogs took the Class B Sectional Title Saturday evening from the Bath Haverling Rams. The Bulldogs won in a 3-0 shutout.
