Mount Morris Serves ‘Order to Remedy’ on Owners of Boarding House

MOUNT MORRIS – The Village of Mount Morris served an 'order to remedy' to the owners of a boarding house that a resident alleged was not in compliance with local code. MOUNT MORRIS— Monday night marked the first meeting for Mount Morris' new village board, which includes newly elected Mayor Frank Provo and new Trustee Peter Bishop. MOUNT MORRIS – The incoming members of the Mount Morris Village Board will handle an income shortage of about $11,000 as one of their first duties in office. The current Village Board approved a tentative budget for fiscal year 2017-2018 on March 20, the latest date allowable by law. MOUNT MORRIS – A pickup truck ran off of Begole Road and struck multiple trees late Monday morning.
