SUNY Geneseo Women’s Tennis Takes Down Farmingdale In NCAA Opener!

MIDDLEBURY VT – SUNY Geneseo's Women's Tennis team took out Farmingdale State in the first round of NCAA tournament play. Senior Maggie Hale and junior Rachel Ollis each took a singles victory, then teamed up to take a win in number-two doubles. This led the Knights to a 5-0 victory to kick off the tournament. CALEDONIA - The Caledonia-Mumford Red Raiders defeated the Avon Braves 22-5 for their 16th win for the season. For the Raiders Hannah Rubinrott got the win on the mound over 4 innings only allowing 3 hits. At the plate for the Raiders it was Gill Flint who was 3 for 4 with 4 runs and 2 RBI's. CORTLAND – The SUNY Geneseo Track and Field team competed at SUNYACS this weekend, taking place at SUNY Cortland. The team competed very well, with the Women winning the title, and the Men taking second. The meet started off on Friday with a bang.
