GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo men's hockey team played their first game in 2017 with a tie against Elmira on Saturday night. The game was scoreless until Ice Knight Andrew Romano scored at the 7:42 mark of the second period. The goal came on a rebound off a shot from Conlan Keenan. GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo men's basketball team got 23 points from senior guard John Decker to cruise past Brockport 86-66 Saturday. Knight junior guard Kevin Crockett had 22 points with 18 coming from his six three-pointers. While Geneseo won by 20, the game was tied at 22 during the first half. GENESEO — The SUNY Geneseo women's basketball team defeated Brockport 79-60 to remain perfect Saturday afternoon. Geneseo senior guard scored a team-high 16 points on the afternoon. The Cal-Mum girls' basketball team won their first Batavia Rotary Tournament in eight years by beating Notre Dame, 51-34, Friday night. The Raiders jumped out to a 16-2 start and never looked back.
